Write my research paperQuestion descriptionThe final project for this course is the creation of a Field Notes and Incident Report. Documenting crime scenes is a fundamental responsibility for criminal justice professionals. It is important for investigators to be able to reconstruct the events surrounding each case they investigate with photographs, sketches of the scene, and written reports. These artifacts are not only crucial to the investigation, but are crucial pieces of evidence at trials. Evidence should be recorded in its original state or as close to it as possible. In this assessment, you will create an Incident Report that documents a crime scene and your observations and actions specific to this incident. You will be required to view a video simulating the crime scene investigation. As in a real-world scenario, you have just one opportunity to view the video and recreate this scene in your report. The project is supported by four milestones, which will be submitted at various points throughout the course to scaffold learning and ensure quality final submissions. These milestones will be submitted in Modules Two, Three, Four, and Five. The final project is due in Module Seven. This assignment will demonstrate your ability to successfully produce a clear, cohesive, and accurate report that is evidence of your mastery of the following course outcomes: ? Assemble critical information and resources that are of evidentiary value for informing cohesive, accurate criminal justice report writing ? Differentiate between primary and supplemental information in preserving knowledge that is pertinent in addressing the essential characteristics of police report writing ? Credibly articulate one’s viewpoint in supporting observations that remediate risk and liabilities in organizational and prosecutorial settings ? Apply standard grammatical practices and procedures in developing complete, concise, and accurate written documentation Prompt You have been tasked with completing an Incident Report and will be required to accurately record your observations of the scene, statements from witnesses, and other immediate information of evidentiary value. You will gather pertinent information from supplemental sources (other officers or professional resources) and record this information in your field notes. You will then assess all of the information and compile an initial report that articulates the facts, the knowledge gained, and their importance in this scenario. Your report will be instrumental in the follow-up investigation that will aim to identify, prosecute, and convict the person responsible for this crime. Remember, it is critical to credibly articulate your viewpoint. Judges, lawyers, and the public will have access to this documentation.©Copyright 2000-2018. All Rights Reserved.
