As newly appointed regional director at BforB across Warrington, Halton, Liverpool City, Chester, North Wales and Cheshire West, Steve Swift is certainly ambitious and passionate about his networking. He is launching seven new BforB groups over the coming weeks alone!
Steve has a wealth of experience in business, from his early days in Stockport working at grass roots level right up to the boardroom 30 years later. Steve has the experience, drive and ambition to achieve whatever he sets out to do in business and in life. Steve ran a telecoms business for over ten years (2004-14) that was at the very heart of the telecoms revolution at the time. While boasting a client list that included high profile financial institutions and the big 5 mobile operators in UK, he was instrumental in building and offering a telecoms infrastructure that was revolutionary. He even built the fastest network on the planet that linked the London and New York stock exchanges !
Steve has won the “Queens Award for Innovation” in 2009, and was nominated “Director of the Year” by the Institute of Directors in 2007 and again in 2010. He has also won numerous awards for being a successful entrepreneur on numerous occasions.
In 2014, Steve moved into the consulting world, in order to help ambitious business people to get off the “hamster wheel” and create real equity in their business. Steve helps business owners to implement systems, strategies and automation into their businesses so that they can run their business successfully within a few hours a week. He also runs mastermind programmes to promote collaboration and creative business growth solutions. Steve is a gifted marketeer and has the ability to spot marketing “bottle necks” in a business very quickly.
Steve is very excited to be working with BforB. He feels that it is a good fit with his career experience to date and has a very similar beliefs and ethos to those at BforB. He believes that building strong and trusting relationships are the key to quality referral marketing.
Steve has always been a fan of referral marketing and sees the huge value that it can bring to a business. However, he always felt that other organisations tended to be somewhat inflexible and a little too structured in their approach to networking.
He is hoping to add value and share his own experience and business advice with the members, which will ultimately lead to quality referrals and building trusting relationships for all.
